This highly-anticipated event is open to all WORLDSymposium participants, immediately following the Speed Mentoring Event. This provides a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, make new connections, establish new relationships, welcome new attendees, and celebrate the achievements of past and present WORLDSymposium Award Recipients. Attendees are eager to connect LIVE; everyone in attendance can be a catalyst to spark new conversations, make new connections, and encourage new collaborations.

Event Highlights:

• Catalyst Award presentation
• Honor past and present Young Investigators, Patient Advocate Leader (PAL)  and Roscoe O. Brady Award Recipients
• Welcome First Time Attendees 
• Reception is open to all attendees, with an expected attendance of 300+  people
• Reception on Monday, February 3, 2025 from 18:00 to 19:30 in the Marina Courtyard

Event Schedule:

• 18:00 – Welcome announcement / message from event sponsor
• 18:05 – Presentation of Catalyst Award
• Participate in scheduled group photo opportunities:
  • 18:15 – All first time attendees
  • 18:25 – 2025 Young Investigator Award photo, followed by all past and present Young Investigator Award recipients
  • 18:35 – 2025 Patient Advocate Leader (PAL) Award recipient photo followed by all past and present recipients 
  • 18:45 – 2025 Roscoe O. Brady Award recipients photo followed by all past and present recipients
  • 18:55 – Genetic Counselors
  • 19:05 – Patients and Patient Advocates
  • 19:15 – 2025 WORLDSymposium Planning and Organizing Committee
