Late-breaking Abstract Submissions for WORLDSymposium™
Late-breaking abstract submissions now open November 1 to December 1, 2022. Abstracts must be submitted and finalized no later than 11:59 PM CST on December 1, 2022. After December 1, 2022, all late-breaking abstracts will be considered final and no changes can be made. The first author of the submitted abstract will be notified of acceptance for poster or possible platform presentation by December 15, 2022.
WORLDSymposium 2023 will again present a “Late-Breaking Science” session at the 2023 meeting. Up to 12 abstracts may be selected for this section, based on the quality and content of the submitted abstracts. Authors who submitted abstracts prior to the October 1, 2022 deadline, are welcome to resubmit for this category if a) they were not selected for a platform presentation for their abstract, and b) they have updated information which impacts the quality of the science in the submitted abstract.
All platform presenters must be able to present a LIVE in-person presentation, during an assigned day and time of the meeting. In addition, late-breaking abstracts will have the option of providing a live poster presentation during the meeting, at a selected day and time.
Abstracts are required to be no more than 300 words in length and may not contain images or figures.
(Late-Breaking abstracts are only published in program materials created for attendees, and are NOT published in Molecular Genetics and Metabolism.)
Prior to the submission of the scientific abstract, ALL individuals listed as an author or co-author will be required to submit THEIR OWN disclosure. An abstract cannot be completed without all authors and co-authors disclosures being submitted.
All author and co-author contact information and conflict-of-interest information must be completed at the time of abstract submission. An abstract is only considered complete when a green checkbox appears, stating that the submission is complete. At that time, abstract submitters can request a confirmation email to be sent to all authors.
For technical support with the abstract submission system, please contact OASIS: 217-398-1792 (Monday through Friday 9:00 AM -5:00 PM Central Time). For questions regarding deadlines, topics, or other non-technical questions, please contact Amber Brown at email@example.com.
It is the policy of WORLDSymposium to publish all abstracts with the list of authors exactly as the abstract was submitted to WORLDSymposium. The first author of the submitted abstract will be listed as the presenting author on the Preliminary Program, Agenda, and/or Poster List.
