Poster Sessions

WORLDSymposium™ 2021 late-breaking abstract submission site is now closed.

WORLDSymposium 2021 abstract submission site is now closed.

This year over 330 scientific abstracts will be presented at five separate poster sessions. These sessions are an excellent opportunity to see, hear and discuss specific research topics directly with the abstract authors. Although the ePoster content will be available throughout WORLDSymposium, the opportunity for live Q&A with the presenters is limited to their assigned date and time. Plan your schedule now!

Any poster numbers not listed will not be presented as the author is unable to attend the conference.

All abstracts received by the October 1, 2020 deadline will be considered for platform presentation and inclusion in the special lysosomes issue of Molecular Genetics and Metabolism (MGM) which will be published in February 2021. Poster notifications and assigned poster numbers will be sent to the first author of the submitted abstract at the beginning of December, 2020.

Late-breaking abstract submission will be open on November 1 and close on December 1, 2020 for poster and possible platform presentation. A new featured session, Late-Breaking Science Friday, has been added to the 2021 Scientific Program to highlight recent advances in lysosomal disease research. Selected abstracts from the Late-Breaking submission cycle will be awarded an oral presentation time on Late-Breaking Science Friday. Due to publication deadlines, late-breaking abstracts are published in the virtual program materials, and are not published in Molecular Genetics and Metabolism (MGM).

Registered attendees will have access to an electronic copy of the program and abstracts via the WORLDSymposium 2021 virtual platform. Registered attendees must login to the virtual platform using the confirmation code they receive with their invitation to the virtual platform. The program and abstracts are copyrighted and will be available to non-registrants through Elsevier.

It is the policy of WORLDSymposium to publish all abstracts with the list of authors exactly as the abstract was submitted to WORLDSymposium. The first author of the submitted abstract will be listed as the presenting author on the Preliminary Program, Agenda, and Poster List.

2021: Posters will be Divided into Five (5) Separate Sessions

The ePosters will open at 2:30pm EST on Monday, February 8, 2021, and will remain open throughout WORLDSymposium 2021. Live Q&A will only occur during the assigned times as listed below. Poster presenters are encouraged to be available online during all poster sessions to interact with virtual attendees.

All ePosters will be located in the Virtual Exhibit & ePoster Hall:
