WORLDSymposium™ 2020 abstract submission site opened July 25, 2019.
Last year, over 440 abstracts were presented at the two WORLDSymposium poster sessions. These sessions are an excellent opportunity to see, hear and discuss specific research topics directly with the abstract authors, as well as enjoy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar with colleagues from around the globe.
All abstracts received by the October 1, 2019 deadline will be considered for platform presentation and inclusion in the special lysosomes issue of Molecular Genetics and Metabolism (MGM) which will be published in February 2020. Poster notifications and assigned poster numbers will be sent to the first author of the submitted abstract at the beginning of December, 2019.
Late-breaking abstract submission (for poster consideration only) opens on November 1 and closes on December 1, 2019. Accepted late-breaking abstracts will not be published in the February 2020 special “Lysosomes Issue” of Molecular Genetics and Metabolism.
Registered attendees will receive an electronic copy of the program and abstracts when they check in at the WORLDSymposium 2020 registration desk. The program and abstracts become copyrighted and will be available to non-registrants through Elsevier.
It is the policy of WORLDSymposium to publish all abstracts with the list of authors exactly as the abstract was submitted to WORLDSymposium. The first author of the submitted abstract will be listed as the presenting author on the Preliminary Program, Agenda, and Poster List.
2020: Posters will be Divided into Three (3) Separate Sessions
Poster receptions are scheduled from 4:30-6:30 PM on:
- Monday, February 11, 2020

All posters must be mounted no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, and are to stay posted until Wednesday at 6:30 PM. All posters must be removed after the Wednesday poster sessions ends.
