Health and Safety

All COVID restrictions have been lifted in the state of Florida, and at this time, no vaccination or negative testing is required for travel to Florida, however WORLDSymposium recommends that all attendees be vaccinated and boosted according to the current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. Masks are optional, however all attendees are encouraged to consider practicing safe measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, including maintaining social distance and wearing a mask. Individuals may choose to wear masks at their own discretion.

Current CDC guidelines on “How to Protect Yourself” are available at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html

Hand sanitization will be available throughout the hotel and meeting space.

Staff and attendees who are experiencing any symptoms of illness are asked to get tested for COVID and stay home. If you have reason to believe that you have recently been exposed to COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19, you should not attend WORLDSymposium, including if these conditions emerge while you are in Orlando. If you need a COVID-19 test while attending WORLDSymposium, you may find a testing site available in Orlando at https://floridahealthcovid19.gov/testing-sites/. Please consult with your physician to determine appropriate next steps. WORLDSymposium encourages all individuals to follow applicable guidance from their care providers and relevant public health authorities.

Any attendee who is uncomfortable with attending in person, given there are no current restrictions, should consider their options and make their own decisions.
